Various possibilities of volunteer work in the most diverse and enchanting regions of Brazil
Brazil is the largest country in Latin America. Samba, soccer, Carnival, miscegenation, parties, enchanting beaches, an exuberant nature… are not enough to translate this complex tropical paradise.
Nothing better than to take advantage of the World Cup and The Olympics to explore this ebullient and festive destination and still provide a social contribution by taking part in volunteer work!
1) In Rio de Janeiro, VV works with:
– The famous NGO ADAPTSURF, helping persons with disability in entertaining and encouraging surf classes taking place at the beautiful beaches of the Marvelous City.
2) In the outback (sertão) of Pernambuco, we take you to the work done by Ciranda Sertaneja, where our VV volunteer will be able to get to know this beautiful Brazilian region and help local communities in situations of extreme need. In this project, developed by Talita Guedes, we participate in accordance with the VV Missions calendar.
3) At the Ilha de Deus in Recife, our volunteer works directly with the two thousand inhabitants of this community, situated in the heart of Pernambuco’s capital. The areas of participation in this project, which is open all year long, range from child education, with English and school support classes, to the management sector of the Saber Viver NGO.
